Look what found me in the thrift store today! I love the vintage wool cap made in Australia and the First Aid Auto kit....so darling!! I love me a vintage tin!!!

Martha Washington

I read the most powerful book over the Christmas break!! It is about Martha and George Washington. It tells in first person the humble up bringing of their family and of the great nation that we live in. I must admit I had no idea of the struggles and the sorrow that were had so that I could live in freedom. I am grateful for great women who have made great men to do great things!! (I also feel this way about Emma Smith).

My darling sister reported yesterday that there is a new Habitat for Humanity ReStore in SLC. I also heard it reported that it is very over priced but fun!! I'd like to hear YOUR review if you have visited!!

One of my friend's family traditions was..before they put away all there Christmas loot mommy would take a picture of them w/ all their stuff. How fun to see what one got in 1983 and to see how big you were. What a FAB idea!! So here is my loot!!

Today I went to visit my 95 year old friend. I had to giggle when she pulled up a pant leg to show me her sassy holiday socks. What a woman!!!

Powdered Sugar

Someone visited my tiny town last night and sprinkled powdered sugar over everything. What a yummy and beautiful sight!!

Junk Sorrows!

I was at the thrift store minding my own business (as if) and happened on a darling 1980's doll house. It was so STINK'N cute or would be w/ a little time and elbow grease!! I was so excited. I had it all decorated and painted in my mind! I thought this would be the PERFECT GIFT for two of my darling best friends who are 5 and 7. I quickly (like a snail) texted their mom...the answer was "no room". I wanted to lay on the floor and cry. Aweeee the elation and sorrows that junk brings me!!

Random Soup

The girls and I made this little baby at the group home last night!! They loved it and it makes me smile to look at it!! I love the marshmallow windows best!!

I saw this lonely fella on my morning walk...and thought I'd take a picture!!

I needed something to add to my naked Christmas wreath. I cut out a bird from a cereal box and glued some of my new wrapping paper to it...and gosh I love it!

Cany Cane LOVE!!

This is one of my favorite gifts to give at christmas!! As easy as 2 hot glued candy canes together!! W/ lots of heart of course! I usually put it in a cellophane bag and add a cute ribbon and a cute quote!! I leave the plastic on the "canes" and usually tie a cute bow and add buttons and bobs to the top center where it meets!!

These are cute for co-workers, visiting teaching ladies, primary kids, friends, ect ect!!

The high in Utah today was a freeeezing 19. I knew I needed some more wool socks. If your feet are ever cold these are a MUST and No they don't itch!!
