Flower Power!!

Today while walking down the isles of the dollar store I happened on the most beautiful package of yummy spring colored tissue paper...It hopped in my arms and came home w/ me. A little google action and I found these instructions and 5 minutes later I had this! SO cute!! The little flower just plopped in a painted terracotta pot! Even your kids could do this!!

This morning at work we filled all the spray bottles we could find w/ red food coloring (and water) we sprayed the lovely clean new snow a darling pink color. Nothing like pink polka dot snow!! Try it !! You'll like it and it will make you smile!!

A fun site called "Seriously Free Stuff" pops into my in box everyday! I quickly look through it, click on some stuff, and a few days (weeks) later I get a FREE prize in my mail box!! I am big into try it BEFORE you buy it. Check it out!! It's FUNNNN!!!

TV Crush!!

I love TV that makes ya think or teaches you something!! I heart HGTV or DYI. I learned a lot and thought A TON after seeing this:
I watched one last night called Blood, Sweat and T-shirts!! It is about these rich and kinda wimpy kids from the UK who go to India to MAKE the high fashion clothes they wear. Last night they were in India in a sweat shop making like 2 dollars a day (LONG LONG DAYS) making shirts!! Some of the clothing I saw being made are lables I own (not high fashion!!!) It really makes you think..that what you buy affects peoples lives!!

I love these rose zippers! I made a tiny one for my hair w/ a new to me .25 cent zipper!!

When I was little I LOVED The Boxcar Children! Children living in there very own place being able to create a fun and exciting place. This weekend I was under the weather and had time to read this FAB book!! It reminded me of the fun the Boxcar children had finding new discoveries! Check it out!! It is a super goody!!

I had to run to Dollar Tree to get one teeny tiny thing! I found this Old Navy Hoodie there!?? For a DOLLAR!! I did have to use my sissors to cut off an extra collar...but for a dollar I wasn't even a little scared!!

Do you ever look in dumpsters? There is a store in my tiny tiny town that throws away the best stuff!! Today I found un open box(es) of their high quality shopping bags. Each box held 500 bags! It totally sickens me the waste that we throw to the land fill!! MMMM. Guess I'll write to the company!!

A little bird!

I went on the worlds LONGESTTTT shopping trip to Walmart w/ the GH girls last night. Look at the DARLING bird that welcomed us!! So cute and on a bamboo board!! I was thinking this would be easily made on the lid of a box!!

Nothing really exciting to report! I pulled the little scab off my eye lid hole this morning on accident and my eye is not happy! The sun is shinning and it looks like spring! No matter what that silly little ground hog says!! Happy Spring!
