Today a beautiful sunny day and the day to find a Christmas tree!! Who knew nature was so expensive!!?

Book Binge!!

This was my book pile over the Thanksgiving Holiday!! I can say they all get my seal of approval!!

Christmas junk!

Yesterday while junking I found these!! Aren't they cute!! Two dollars later and I am very pleased!! I saw theses last year on a blog and really loved them. Today I did a little hunting and look what I found! Now you can have your own!! So cute!!

While drive'n around I saw a sign that said "Boutique" and so I did a quick back track. I found the most darling little cottage filled to the brim. I felt like I was walking through Etsy.com. It was darling and so fun.

A woman w/ a darling home moves her and her family and ALL THERE STUFF out of her home for 2 weeks to have this sale. Can you even imagine?

I digress. Anyway I got this darling ring for 4.oo and ripped my self from the cottage so I didn't do any more damage!! Sighhh.

Today I am most grateful for the ability to create!!

Our internet connection was BROKEN!!

For 2 whole days..I almost died!! To say that my love for the internet is anyless then an addiction is a total lie!! Oh I love you internet!! Never ever leave me again!!

Plugged

Last year I had "Punctal Plugs" shoved in to my tiny tear duct holes at 120.00 a pop!! SO fun!! Tonight almost a year later I found I LOST ONE!!! I'm the same girl who walked a way (and now I'm totally kicking myself) from the worlds most darling jacket at a thrift store because it was "To much"!! It was 5.00 folks!! Sighhh... I guess I have to be cheap so I can pay for "plugs".

Warm

The daily walk has been getting a little chilly! I wanted a cute new beanie and some gloves...1.50 later and I'm feeling the thrift store warmth!! Awwweeee!!

Blind Side

I just went to see Blind Side (the movie) w/ Sandra Bullock. It was such a darling show. Such a faith in humanity builder. I'd give it 5 stars and I am not a movie watcher and enjoyer! It is a holiday, warm heart must see!!

A strangers house!

I love to see what is new and fun on this porch when I go get my prescriptions or run to the bank. Look how cute the pumpkins w/ the house numbers on them!! OOoo I love it!

Life is a BALL!!

So my down comforter is dying a slow death. It has had a long and useful life but it is about time to turn in the towel. In an attempt to prolong it's life I took it to the laundermat today to have a bath. Martha (You know Martha) said to put tennis balls in the dryer while drying it...so it wouldn't "bunch". I've used the tennis ball trick before and so I did it again...well now my down comforter smells like a rubber factory. Awe the joys of Martha!!

Paper Flakes

Sometimes I just can't wait for things to be done for me so I just do them myself. Today I made SNOW!! These are HUGE and easy to make and fun to hang from the ceiling!! Here is the recipe!!

Black and Better Then Ever!!

I've wanted to make one of these JCrew corsage shirts for awhile now and have even bought many a shirt to do this too...alas...I did it!! OOOOO I love it and it was so fun to make!! I just want to high five myself!!

The perfect pear!!

I'm always looking for my perfect match for me!! Instead I found a 1.00 bag of perfect pears!! Oh well close enough. I love the color they add to the top of my wardrobe!

This little lady asked and asked to come home w/ me...and alas no room have I. Isn't she DARLING!!! How fun in a creative studio!!! Sighhhhhh. Hope she found a great home. I think she was 10.00....that only deepens the pain!!

Free and Fabulous!!

I have a crush on Nesting Place. I love how she can paint ANY THING a beautiful aqua blue and it looks smashing!!

Look at her now. Awe..so aqua and so CUTE!! I banged my self on the head something crazy while trying to get this lady in place BY MY SELF!!

But oohhh so worth it!!

Tithing

Today I taught my sweet primary class about "The law of the tithe". (google for more info) I passed out the little gray envolopes and talked about their use. We filled them out and licked them closed. One boy said loudly "Mmmmm that tasted like toast!!" An added bonus I assured him!!

Modbe

I love me a Modbe Cami 99.9% of days. It keeps all things above you waist band hidden!! Teaching preschool and bending over every 3 minutes and sitting on the floor for story time...the Modbe Cami was a MUST!! Sad news...our dear friend Modbe is calling it quits!! Keep your eye open for FAB sales!! They have super duper modest darling swim suits so plan ahead!! (No one paid me to say this kind "stuff" I really love their product!!)

A little letter!!

When is the last time you "snail mailed" a card to someone for nothing special? I usta write 2 or 3 letters a week and now rarely do I have cause to find a stamp. Today I had to thank someone for a kindness and thought I'd write a "little note" rather then shot off and e-mail.

I challange you to send a card to someone today!!

Snow snow snow snoooowwwww!

Today it snowed..not just a little but enough to cover the last of yesterdays leaves.

Rather then venture in to the cold Utah tundra I decided to add a little aqua to my life! (If that isn't a cliff hanger I don't know what is!)

I also want to share my crush on vistaprint.com They helped my darling little sister get all her wedding invites and envelopes for under 100 bucks and they turned out darling!! Today as I played on their site I found darling photo Christmas cards for cheap...I found photo key chains for under 4.00. And custom made photo calendars. I also had business cards made by these fine folks for under 4.00 total (free cards just pay shipping). Just thought I'd share!!

Here is a card a mom downloaded of her daughters art work and Vista printed it and she sent it out for Christmas!! Cute!

I'm glad!!

I'm glad that I realize I'm not perfect...I don't do perfect things and my projects NEVER turn out perfect. I am glad that I am ok w/ that and that is just PERFECT!!

Don't LEAF!!!

Today I woke up at 7:53 and had to be at work at 8:00. What a wild morning!! There was frost on my car this morning and almost all the leaves have fallen and are dry and crunchy. I thought I'd save a few this afternoon!

I used a small votive candle and melted it in a throw away pie tin. Easy clean up is the key!

Dipped and layed flat. They turned out so BEAUTIFUL and leathery!! Can't wait to hang them!!

Salvation

Today I was up had my flu shot and mopped the bathroom and had a load of wash washing before I could even blink. Then I sat down to check out KSL.com (Utah's Craigslist.com) I saw this little lady for FREE!! ROAD TRIP!!

While I was in the area I picked up this darling at the Salvation Army for a dime!!

and this for 3.00.

Now I need a nap!!

Today while drive'n down the free way I looked up to see an older man in his camo standing on an over pass. He was holding a HUGE flag and waving w/ a smile on his face. He was glad today was his day!! Thanks to all the veterans who have made my home a free place!!

Today in primary it was a CIRCUS that begun and ended w/ a prayer!! We could have sold tickets I tell ya!! It was a mad house!! It will take me a week to rest up!!
