Note to self!

1.While bleaching the shower CLOSE YOUR EYES! Bleach in the eyes is so un-fun and HURTS!!

2. Baby showers in Utah when you are over 30...are the PITS!! Avoid any "shower" at all cost!!

The baby shower was held in a BEAUTIFUL home..there was a HUGE urn at the front door full of hearts and such...so CUTE!!

I love to see the Temple!!!

The temple was SO BEAUTIFUL!! They wouldn't let us take pictures inside and they didn't want us on the temple grounds...and so my pictures are so Lame. The Temple was so peaceful and beautiful..I was thinking of just moving in but I hear they frown on that. If you ever have the chance to go to an open house GO!!

What a day!

Yesterday I took the WHOLE day off to Thrift and see the (Mormon) Draper Temple!! What a great day!! It started like this!!

I went to pick up my DARLING sister..who went w/ me to the Temple. It isn't really her "Thang" but she was so good to go w/ me!! Opps forgot a pic of the DARLING sister!!

Oh IKEA we love thee!! We went to IKEA!!

Then we met up w/ my Brother inlaw his buddy...and Harmony and I..and we had dinner at a DELISH/hippy/vegan/vegetarian diner Blue Plate. SO YUMMIE!! See the below link...and totally check it out in person. No worries they have "normal" food too!!

Walking in GREATNESS!!

One of my dearest, kindest and most certainly oldest friends (96 in April) asked me to take her shopping today. How could I not want to walk in the steps of such greatness and a life time of experience!?

The one that got away!!

This little lady was 40 bucks at the local thrift store...she begged to come home w/ me...but I am more of a 10 dollar kinda girl. I morn the loss!! Wouldn't she be so cute painted robins egg blue (my new favorite color).
Notice the finger in the shot...I was in a hurry!! It is hard to look "normal" while take'n pictures of junk w/ strangers around!

Anyone who knows me knows I love a good deal!! I also LOVE Glade Fresh Linen Candles...they just smell so clean!! Look what I found today at Smith's in the make down section (my favorite section)!! A little "Happy Junk" 89 cents!!

Now that is LOVE!!!

Junk in da TRUNK!

So when I bought my cute little car the liner was missing in the trunk! Everything rolled around and got dirty and always looked JUNKIE!! I like Junk not Junkie!! I called around and a new liner would be 100.00. I like my car but not enough to pay 100 bucks for a "skirt" for it...so on went my thinking cap and this is what happened!!

I added a light mist of spray paint so the new cover would look at home!! Now my JUNK can have a nice clean home!!

Have a HEART!!!

Last night I threw together a "craft" for the girls at the Group Home (I work w/ four girls who have various handicaps and who are DARLING). I thought because Valentines is just around the corner we'd do something w/ hearts!! I think they turned out SO CUTE!

Use a brown paper bag, Cut it in a heart shape, Glue gun the sides...Stuff it w/ batting then paint it and antique the edges...and ad a hanger!! SO cute..and nearly FREE!! I love FREEEE!!

Breakfast!!

I was just looking around on the Internet...and looking over friends blogs ...their darling homes, cute kids and nice husbands...and so I decided that I'd post about what makes me happy!! BREAKFAST!! So I am on this HUGE oatmeal kick and I have a few favorites!!

I love Oatmeal w/ Apple or Pear and cinnamon and sugar!! Yummy! I also LOVE LOVE oatmeal w/ strawberries and vanilla. YUM YUMMY!! Try it. I just use the old fashion oatmeal...and cut up the above fruit and put it in the microwave w/ water.

Growing a little pot of Happiness!!

On these dull gray days in the middle of the winter don't we all need a spot of green? These are so fun and so easy to grow...and grow about an inch a day.

Just get a pot fill w/ dirt..get wheat (I got mine from Honeyville Grain) I know you all hoard it in your basements...plant and water. A little spot of happiness in your own home!!

I got IMPLANTS!!

So I have chronic dry eye and my eyes hurt 99.9% of the time...so I took the leap and got Punctual Plugs...Here's hope'n they work!! Only 120.00 an eye for something as big as a grain of sand...and you thought I was CHEAP!

Finding Peace at the Dollar Store!!!

I have been looking for PEACE for along time..who knew I'd find it at the dollar store and for only a DOLLAR!! These are cute and came unfinished!! I might need to go get a few more!!
