I have a million things to do. My sister who is getting married is sick and won't deligate!

I patched a hole in my bathroom and patched it w/ the left over paint. IT IS

MUCH DARKER. I wonder if sitting in the HOT/COLD garage

did it or I did? Mmmm. I have lots of Christmas to do!

How Santa does it I will never know!!

Anywho I needed a quick little creative IV.

 I found this ugly at the thrift store for 2 dollars!

I spent forever painting her and getting her dresses up!



It took forever!

She kinda reminds me of the "up" house. Not sure why!!

Neighbor gifts (vent)!

I like good stuff.
I like dollar store goodies.
I love me some good junk.
I just don't understand the "neighbor gift".
I live in Utah. I have LOTS of neighbors. 20 +
I like them all..or mostly all.  (kidding)
When you have 20 peeps ya wanta say "Happy Holidays" too
it gets costly quick! So everyone gives cute little tokens.
Tiny little quilt squares..if you will.
What does one do w/ a tiny little quilt square?
We look at it for a while and then toss it.
To me...it seems like all the squares would be
better used if sewn together and given to someone
REALLY in need! Someone who lacks any warmth...
education, clean water, food. Christmas.
After all it takes a village (of quilters).

Maybe next year I'll get my village to rally?

Primary Gifts!

I love my sweet little primary class! Every year I morn the loss of them

as the grow older and I get a new batch that I love just as much but diffrently.

Warm Heart!

* I spilled my bottled water on my car seat the next day I picked up my mittens

and strangely they were frozen to the seat. Buuurrr!

* Peace on earth Goodwill to men!

*Last night during an UN-birthday party I gave

 the niece's little cup cake hats...they have never looked so sweet!

*11 days till Christmas!

*16 days till my sister's wedding.

*I went to my auntie's house this last weekend..decorated to the darling

hilt..I should have taken pictures..but alas to many people and one

doesn't want to look like a total weird-o in front of the extended family.

*Yummy treats at every corner. (sighhhhh)

*I went to the library and oddly enough got the mother load of

darling Christmas books! Maybe this year people are to busy

to look at lovely pictures?

*Can't wait for darling baby nephew!

Yesterday I went to SLC. I had plans...plans changed. Sigh!

Anywho I hit a few thrift shops. We knew I would right?

Moving on. 2 plus years ago I ran into these

 babies at DI brand new w/ tags for 2 bucks.

I have loved LOVED loved them! They retail for around 34 bucks.

I don't pay 34 bucks for nothin!

So when my orange little numbers got old and

 smellie and fallie a partie I morned!

I honestly thought about paying RETAIL for some more....

Then yesterday I ran into these little babies.

 BRAND new AGAIN and 34ish retail

 but 4 dollars at the Thriggity thrift store.

I love cute and we all know I LOVE CHEAP!

 Well here it is all in a cute little bundle!

I happened on Mindy Mae's Facebook page. I liked.

Then I happened on their blog. I liked too!

This is how it works..they buy things in bulk and

split up the stuff and sell it to "us" at a

great deal!! After all who needs a case of bobby pins?

Pick up is in Bountiful or they ship or they have a tiny store

once a week (Saturday) in Bountiful also.

Once upon a time...(Home Tour!)

So on December 3th after working all morning, going to see Santa and getting a hair cut. I went on the city's holiday home tour!! Most years I like one house and the rest are ho hummm. This year they were all Divine!! I love a creative home more then the next "guy"!!

I once asked if I could peek inside this home when the family had a tiny estate sale in the front yard. What was hiding behind the front door was CREEPY and falling down. I quickly looked around and ran out feeling like the ceiling might fall on my head at any moment! YIKES!

Dear Santa!

Tis the season of time slipping by quickly. I needed a advent

calender and quick. I whipped up this baby this morning.

I found it here...All the verbage is in Spanish. I used my

mad preschool teacher skills and was able to wing it!

So my sister is going to have a

sweet little baby boy.

My sister thinks hippos are cute..so do I.

First I found this (below) via Target! Cute!

She also has this changing table.

We found on the side of the road! Free!!

She painted it this aqua turquoise color! (below)

 I am not in love w/ the Target bedding and the aqua!

So then I thought this (below) color combo would look

cuter for the little guy. Totally nixing the Target bedding!
