Book Report!

I read a great book this weekend. When I picked it off the shelves at the library I thought it looked a little "teenish" but crossed my fingers. I loved it! It is called Journey of the Heart by W. Dave Free. It is about a modern day teenager who some how finds himself in Pioneer time and crosses the plains w/ the early saints! Fun easy insightful read!!

 Mini Shopaholic! Funny and light hearted read. (The book does say the "f" word which I highly hate). Becky is always in a jam and it teaching her daughters he crazy ways!

I'd love to spend a few days in the past! The WAY past! I have read "Love Beyond Time"  lots of times and it never disappoints!

KSL.com Classifieds! Tips and Treats!

I was e-mailing Mrs. V and Co. com about finding great deals on KSL.com. I gave her a few pointers shocked that she didn't know(All) the ropes!! Also my darling friend Callie asked for a few inside tips too! So here we are. Open another window to KSL.com then click on classifieds!

1. Search by zip code! If you aren't willing to drive all over the state see what your neighborhood has to offer. Check often!! The early bird gets the worm!

2. Search your sisters, moms, and best friends zip codes! They might be willing to pop over and get a scream'n deal for your in their zip code for a little treat as reward!

3. Search by key word! I often search: IKEA, Pottery Barn, Shabby Chic, ect. Hours and Hours of fun will be had by this way of looking for goods!

4. After choosing a section. I often click on (in the upper right hand corner) sort by..and then click on "lowest to highest". I want to by pass all the million dollar ads and get the to CHEAP stuff QUICK!

5. I love the FREE section tons! Sometimes people need the space more then they need the goods and they want it gone quick! If you see something in the free section be ready to MOVE FAST!! Call the minute you see it and be willing to jump in the car quick. Often on KSL items will not be held (for you) by the seller.

6. Always ask for a better deal!! Just like a yard sale...what is the worst that can happen when you offer less?

***** THIS JUST IN!!! When typing in your zip code (to look in your area) right next to it is a little box that says miles from. Add 5-or 10 and you get your whole area not just your zip code!! Love this!!

Remember a VERY long time ago when I did a tease about my little vintage friends? Well all the before pictures are lost! Not the afters though!

 It's a cute little vintage kitchen hutch I have up for sale. It's she the best!?

CSN Review

I have had my down comforter for YEARS it is slowly dying! When my friends at CSN said they'd like me to do a review I jumped at the chance!! Fluffy white down comforter here I come! CSN has everything from flip flops to bar stools! What would you "review" if you could?

Some days are lemons!

While moving all the "junk" from one place into the "new" hutch I came across these (I have 2) darling lemon wreaths! I am out of room and they are For Sale. About 12" wide and darling and realistic as can be $2.00 plus shipping and handling! It's gunna be a long winter! Let these lovelies cheer ya up!

I read about painting your nails w/ acrylic craft paint here. I dare say I was a tiny bit skeptical..well the darling polka dots have been on my toe nails  for a few weeks and I for one love how fun and cheap it was!! Try it and report back!

 I tried to reach outside my color realm and paint this baby something different! It was a brown resin banged up color. I'm not sure it will stay this greenie color but I'm sure it's staying!!

My sister has a darling dog that she loves more then just like a child! She got Lulu's puppy prints from a fun company called "A Child's Touch Boutique". So silly and so cute!  Find them on FaceBook!

I believe!

I strongly believe that the drivers licence division should have a stylist on hand at all times! I went and "renewed" today and looked like "hell" in my tiny grainy photo!!

Today after greeting a darling little girl in Primary she reported she has HEAD LICE!

A little boy also attending Primary expressed his desire to be an "egg" for Halloween.
