Just my cuppa tea!

The last two days have been awful! Really kicked me in the rear! Really!

But on Wendsday I went on quite the adventure! I thought

I'd share. Most great things happen when I am just minding my own business!

I was having a little look see at Craigslist.com the other day

I saw an ad for a company looking for creative minded people to come to a one hour panel

and share their ideas on the company's products. That was all that was said.

I signed up and forgot a bout it. A week later I got an e-mail asking me to verify

that I was still interested. It  stated the date and the time..and I noticed it was on my day off.

I signed up thinking for sure it was a hokes.

It wasn't. I went to the Raddison downtown SLC and talked to

people about what I liked of didn't like about their crafty product!

(I can't say the company because I signed away my life saying

I wouldn't!) It was so fun to have someone PAY me for give'n them

a piece of my mind. I told my sister it was my dream job!

 I was there 45 minutes. I was paid 50 BUCKS!

and I was given 50 dollars worth of product from the company. Fifty

dollars worth of product of MY choosing!

You bet I'll be looking for more of those "Jobs"!

Thank goodness for happy endings! 

Thirteen Hours

Today I worked a thirteen hour shift at work.

I feel like my soul has been sucked out via my ear!

Not pretty!

Baby Nephew...

Dear Nephew,

You will be here is just over 2 months. I can't wait!

You'll be super darling I just know it!

I have decorated your room 200 x over in my minds eye.

Stripes, polkadots and hippos and ric rac are must haves I know you agree!

Your mommy is very nice I am sure you'll LOVE her, but alas

she dose not share the same decorating need I do.

Where I see dust ruffles and perfectly placed knick nacks

she sees only burp clothes and nose suction.

She is a nuts and bolts lady and I am a decorate and primp

kinda auntie! Would you mind darling baby boy kicking her a few

times (softly) in the ribs and let's see if we can

get her to see things in a "Thrifted goodness!" "Better now then later."

 "Good things take time" kinda way!

Reminder her too that Auntie loves this kinda stuff and is

ready to get started any minute!!

so simple. This is a must have for today!

Sew Cute!

Remember yesterday how I mentioned I found a little somethin

somethin w/ a free sign stuck to it? Well here SHE IS:

A beautiful antique sewing cabinet! So pretty and so full

of chartater and DIRT!!

I am going to use this on her. (Watch the movie!) But alas they do

not sell it in my tiny town so I'll have to pick some up this week.

Little Lights

* Last night the power went out for an hour. I slept right through it.

*I ate at Subway today and found a weevil in my sandwich. I checked over

my sandwich over and over and then just ate it.

 I knew if I didn't there would be hell to pay! 

How many weevil have I eaten in my life I wonder!? SICK!

*I found a real beauty on the side of the road today

w/ a free sign. My dad was the scout and gave me the tip!

Will wonders never cease!

* I rolled my eyes today more then I ever have..ever.

 (Maybe not ever but close)

*I called to leave a message on someone voice mail today and

forgot my cell phone #!! I AM TURNING INTO MY MOTHER!!!

*Did I already state that my phone is to smart for me? It is!

*On Sunday one of the girls in my primary class looked at me

like she just ate a lemon and asked why I had curly hair. I assured her

I had planned it and she decided it was ok w/ her.

*I love this spring like weather.

*Last night one of the girls at the group home asked

what language I speak being a vegetarian and all.

*I need to find round paper doilies but can only find hearts!

*I am tired!

This year we have been sorely lacking.

 Last night we got enough to remind us!

We still are the greatest!

I love when the sky is the color of the warm ocean!

I love when the white is perfectly snow white w/ no

blemishes!

(where I work) one of the girls asked

me about her new fish Sally.

 She wanted to know what Sally's last name was.

 I quickly stated it was the same as her last name.

 She thought for a few minutes and then was filled

w/ wonder that in the whole wide world

 we'd found a fish w/ her same last name.

This morning I burnt my finger on my hair!

Little Ms. Hubbard went to her cupboard...

Remember her?

I primed her and painted her...and hated how it turned out

She has sat in the garage for MONTHS!

I needed my other cupboard in my bathroom because

all my stuff is choke'n me!

So Ms. Aqua had to come in even if she isn't finished.

Maybe if I am forced to look at her I will have some

GREAT IDEAS!?

Here she is painted aqua. I just don't like how the finish turned

out. The sanding ect.

I hate stuffed animals. They don't do anything but

sit and take up space and most are just cheap, ugly and gross!

However now that my sister is expecting.

I find the need to buy EVERY stuffed animal in sight!

I didn't buy this fella but my heck now I wish I woulda!

Isn't he so handsome! I think he is an ardvark! A handsome

one at that! He will have to be the "ardvark who got away"!!
