I'm glad!!

I'm glad that I realize I'm not perfect...I don't do perfect things and my projects NEVER turn out perfect. I am glad that I am ok w/ that and that is just PERFECT!!

Don't LEAF!!!

Today I woke up at 7:53 and had to be at work at 8:00. What a wild morning!! There was frost on my car this morning and almost all the leaves have fallen and are dry and crunchy. I thought I'd save a few this afternoon!

I used a small votive candle and melted it in a throw away pie tin. Easy clean up is the key!

Dipped and layed flat. They turned out so BEAUTIFUL and leathery!! Can't wait to hang them!!

Salvation

Today I was up had my flu shot and mopped the bathroom and had a load of wash washing before I could even blink. Then I sat down to check out KSL.com (Utah's Craigslist.com) I saw this little lady for FREE!! ROAD TRIP!!

While I was in the area I picked up this darling at the Salvation Army for a dime!!

and this for 3.00.

Now I need a nap!!

Today while drive'n down the free way I looked up to see an older man in his camo standing on an over pass. He was holding a HUGE flag and waving w/ a smile on his face. He was glad today was his day!! Thanks to all the veterans who have made my home a free place!!

Today in primary it was a CIRCUS that begun and ended w/ a prayer!! We could have sold tickets I tell ya!! It was a mad house!! It will take me a week to rest up!!

Green Christmas

Although I have a love hate relationsip w/ "my" library lately (namely because a cute dog I know keeps on tasting my library books) I found this "so fun" book that I must share. It has cute creative and simple gifts, decor and food.

It comes in paper back here (cheaper) or better yet ask your library to order it!! Merry Christmas!!

Twinkle Toes

I just went to get a "Happy Birthday Pedicure!!" It was delish and my feet look so pretty!! Then went to have a yummy salad w/ my darling friends!! I love friends who can tell it how it is and you still like them. Said friends also gave me fun gifts!! Thanks said friends!!

I have always wondered how these work...but never have spent the money to find out!! I found these for 50 cents!! Totally worth a shot!! It was so interesting!! I don't know if I am a detoxed person...but gosh the "foot patches" were brown in the morning!! Exciting isn't it? Happy Birthday to me!
