If there is anything LOVELY...
If there is anything virtuous,
lovely, or of good report or praiseworthy,
we seek after these things.
The other day this screamed at me. It said "FREE!!!"
really really loud! I brought her home and hummed and
hawed...and today because it was a million degrees
I decided to give her a new white coat.
I wonder who's home she stood in.
What did she see?
Did the thumb tack holes in her hold up Christmas garland?
Or a child's lovely art work?
Who lovingly wood grained her surfaces?
What year was she born?
What sat on her shelves?
Was she made by a man for his true love or
a carpenter working his trade to feeds his family?
I may never know, but I can say
I'm just glad I met her!!
Happy Summer!!
Psssst..Did you know hand sanitizer takes paint and kilz primer right off u hands

While driving home from Logan yesterday

and I squealed! Loud!
One of my special needs friends
said "Heather did that scare the crack
right out of you!!"
I quickly replied "YES it scared the CRACK
right out of me!
I giggled and she wondered what was so funny!!
Crack...ha ha ha!!
Cheap Down East!!
I like Down East clothing!
I LOVE their tanks!
I hate how costly their stuff is!!
I found this yesterday and was pleased as punch!!
Super well organized!
Tons of cute stuff!!
Loved this dress!!
It will go till the 24th of July and then...it will be gone again!
It's at the old Honk's in Logan!!
Go visit!!
Visit in the morning! No AC! Trying on clothes
and sweating to death make for ugly ness!
Also wear leggings and a t-shirt to make trying on easy.
The dressing rooms are lame!

Over heard. Conversation between my sister and her two year old.
Nephew: Guess what Mama?
Sister: What?
Nephew: I want a popsicle!...
Sister: You already had one! You are now wearing it on your shirt!
Nephew: Oh!
Running off to play!

History on fire!
Sunday night when I was taking a walk, I noticed a huge plum of smoke. I knew something big was on fire. Later I watched as my small towns historic mill burned.
I went to Jr. High across the street from this mill and never really thinking about it
or it's history. Upon its burning I did a little research!
*The mill is reported to be one of the most haunted buildings in Utah.
*The mill was the largest in the west for many years.
*The mill was powered by steam in later years. Can you imagine
how hot and scratchy it would be to work there?
*The woolen mill was the idea of Brigham Young was church owned.
*The mill was built not long after the saints arrived. Built in 1887.
*The mill has burnt and been rebuilt 3 times! This is the mills 4th fire!
*Suits for three US presidents were made at the mill.
*The mill used a water wheel during it's first years of production.
