A few weeks ago I saw a box
of 1000 tags (like the above),
 at my favorite store NPS
I flinched and didn't get them.
I should never second guess myself.
Now I regret it!
I love a good tag!!

Not long ago I handed my darling little nephew a new plastic shovel
he quickly raised it to his ear and check in w/ his peps!
Same above Nephew was talking to me via video chat and
was showing me how he learned to use a spray bottle.
He pointed it right at the screen trying to "get me" wet
and then his mom quickly ended the chat
to wipe of her overly water tablet!!

Scripture Power!!

My scriptures are kinda thrashed!
They get warn from reading and from bouncing around in my
church bag!
I have made lots of covers and this one is my favorite!
I found a tiny little HEAVY DUDY
shopping bag at my dollar tree! (for a dollar)
Cut it up and sewed it and now I have a
darling chevron that is water proof...kinda.
This would be cute for achievement days or Young Women's!
Or just for your self!!
Happy Summer!

Tiny book report!

I asked my library to get this book.
They did!!
My fairy garden is sad because of the non stop heat!
While reading this book I could pretend
all was well in fairy land!!
Check it out!!

I also picked up this baby at NPS and I am a fan!!

I live the world's weirdest life!
Let's talk about today!
*I can't park in a big city...I just can't!
*No one at Pottery Barn will talk to me
I must have "Thrift Store" tattooed to my forehead!
*I eat lunch alone at restaurants..some find that horrifying..
I find it quiet!
*I switched from my little purse into a big purse today
and forgot to swap over my eye drops and Ibuprofen.
I nearly died!
*I ran into someone I blog stalk but she doesn't know I blog stalk her
so it was weird cuz I had to pretend I had no idea who she was. SO WEIRD!
*When leaving Craft Lake City! I had to yell "HELLOooooo"
to the person in the little both because they were asleep and I needed to
pay for parking. It was so weird and so funny!!
*My nephew was trying to put on a shirt that she sitting on the arm of the
sofa...I helped him. He looked like he was wearing
a dress when his parents returned!
Sadly they'll never ask me to babysit for him again!!
*When dropping off my sisters stuff at DI, I unloaded the stuff and
handed it to the guys. One kid stood right behind me
and I nearly stepped on his toes. He smiled at me and said
"I'm ok I have steel toes on!"
Awesome!! Awesome!
*I left my super tasty drink in my sisters fridge!
Happy weekend and Happy Happy Summer!!

Craft Lake City 2013

I love a good craft!
I love a great adventure!
Today they both came together in
Craft Lake City!!
After last year I swore I'd never go again!
This year was just as hot but my word it is like
Etsy threw up and who doesn't want to be involved in that!!
I mean really folks!
I loved this awesome photos below!
SO amazing and artsy! The developed then as
you watched! It was awesome!!
See what they do HERE!
(I leaned about this place too..I'll have to visit!!)
I loved this burlap bunting!

I also LOVED this little shop.
I did a quick walk through before my sister met
up w/ me and saw this shop and the owner
looked like someone I had once known.
Later I walked by and in a totally weirdo way
introduced my self. This is my friend Teacher Jenny!
We work together 14 years a go and she then married and
moved to New York. I have thought about her often and
wondered where she was and how she was and I happened on her
@ Craft Lake City!! Small world! You know what makes it
even smaller? She lives 15 minutes from me!! Crazy huh??
I know I know!! I can't believe it either!
Well Miss Jenny has always had good taste!
and she now has a sweet little shop called.
Go to Jenny's site and buy her stuff!!
Oh heck I hope I grow up to be as
cool and as cute as her. She is the best!!
I have a headache and my eyes
 burn from over heating today!
What won't I do for a good CRAFT!
Happy Summer!!

This is Shrek the sheep. He became famous several years ago when he was found after hiding out in caves for six years. Of course, during this time his fleece grew without anyone there to shorn (shave) it. When he was finally found and shaved, his fleece weighed an amazing sixty pounds. Most sheep have a fleece weighing just under ten pounds, with the exception usually reaching fifteen pounds, maximum. For six years, Shrek carried six times the regular weight of his fleece. Simply because he was away from his shepherd.
This reminds me of John 10 when Jesus compares Himself to a shepherd, and His followers are His sheep. Maybe it’s a stretch, but I think Shrek is much like a person who knows Jesus Christ but has wandered. If we avoid Christ’s constant refining of our character, we’re going to accumulate extra weight in this world—a weight we don’t have to bear.
When Shrek was found, a professional sheep shearer took care of Shrek’s fleece in twenty-eight minutes. Shrek’s sixty pound fleece was finally removed. All it took was coming home to his shepherd.
I believe Christ can lift the burdens we carry, if only we stop hiding. He can shave off our ‘fleece’—that is, our self-imposed burdens brought about by wandering from our Good Shepherd.
“Come to Me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and my burden is light.” Matthew 11:28-30

I found this lesson and this sheep profound and thought I'd share!!
Happy Summer!
