I DUMPSTER DIVE!!

In the dead of night, in the FREEZING cold w/ flash lights we drove to dumpster Mecca!!

We got 1 bag of new mulch.
1 camp chair
1 sun tanning chair
and the BEAUTIES below:

The stool needs a little spray paint love...but it's so cute and AQUA!! I heart trash!!

One mans trash...

It is city wide clean up in my small town. There are dumpsters at all for corners to collect rubbish that is to big for weekly pickup. I had a little sleuthing to do. I came home w/ almost full cans of paint. So wasteful. Lucky me!!

Ninety Seven

Ninety Seven years ago one of my oldest and dearest friends was born! The things she has seen and the wisdom she holds is amazing! The world and my life are better for knowing her! Ninety seven years ago was a great day! Look what my little friend google found about her!

Kindnesses

A 19 year old boy in our neighborhood took his life this weekend. The world is a different place w/ even one soul missing! I have been shocked and over whelmed by the kindnesses shown he and his family! On Face book someone made a page for memories of him. Such kind words have been said. Deep heart felt life changing stories, honest open love has been shown he is truly missed. I wonder if the kindnesses shown were shown a week ago would the out come have been different? Small kindness are never wasted!

I have NO IDEA what planet I live on but I honestly was unaware that I needed my taxes done TODAY!! Hello!! Where have I been?? Gosh I feel foolish!

I'm a sucker for a 6 dollar kitchen re-do!! When I was little my mom would try to expalin how making dollie clothes was just as hard if not harder then making big people clothes. I never did believe her. Now I do. I think this little kitchen was just as time consuming as working on a big kitchen.

But gosh she did come a LONG WAY!! She was worth every dollar of the 6 I paid for her!

Polka Dot Love!!

I love Cath Kidston!! I love her POLKA DOTS!! This morning in my e-mail box I got her spring "advert" telling me she now has POLKA DOT floor tiles!! I could just die!! They are Red, Aqua, or Stone colored! Swoon!!

Alas I live to far from Cath to shop at her stores!! I did however buy 6 of these babies this morning for .50 each at my local thrift store. SO CUTE!! Not real Cath but close enough!

Moving!

I helped my sister and brother-in-law move yesterday. I more of less helped at the new house organizing and fluffing. This morning I was so tired I could have melted...every cell in my body ached!! Good thing they and their house is so cute or I would have quit mid morning!

I have house envy! Not in a wicked way but in a totally righteous and kind way!! Remember when I wrote here about a local house I love. Well I decided not to let my love of a home go unknown to it's owner! I up and wrote a note and sent it in the mail. I got a reply in the mail today along w/ the MOST BEAUTIFUL "H" necklace!!
