Head Cold

While doing everything in my power to avoid my co-workers head cold. I washed my hands 20 million times, Stayed across the room from her, used 2.5 gallons of Lysol and made sure my sanitary bubble was intact! I sat down and took a big drink of water...only moments later realizing that glass I was drinking out of was MY CO-WORKERS!!! It was like putting a welcome mat out for the germs!! UGAH!!

Rose Ring and a Tease!!

I saw these rings on a blog (who's? I'm not sure)...I need another flower some'n some'n like a hole in the HEAD!! But look how cute!! I think they'd be cute w/ a button too. I saw a Button bracelet made this same way!! Easy Peezie!!

As Big As A Bread Box!

It has been one of those days....I have a head ache, it is snowing and the water sprayer on the sink got a little wild and I took a quick shower and the kitchen got a hose down!! Sighhh!! A quick trip to the thrift store was in order!

I fell in love w/ "Bread Bins" while in the UK. I even bought on while there but it was to big for my luggage and alas it had to stay on the other side of the world! Today while walking down the rows and rows of stuff..I found THIS in all it's thrifted glory!! One dollar and 50 cents!

I envy the Swiffer that they have at work...but HELLO have you priced the refills and the cleaner?? WOWZERS! I like a newly mopped for just as much as another clean freak..but I'm not break'n the bank to clean!!

TA DA look what I got today for 1.75. The whole kit and caboodle! I'll just use my organic bathroom cleaner to spray the floor and then mop in glee!!

Book Report

For the birds!

I bought this bird cage a few years ago and tried to sell it w/ all my might! It never sold! It was black. In my goal to paint everything w/ in arms length aqua...here she is all dressed for spring!

Peeps!

For all my local Peeps...I have good news!! There is a new thrift store in town!! WOOT WOOT!! The woman of the local Presbyterian’s Church are raising money for a new church. They Have opened a little store right behind their church 320 S. 200 E. It's 9-2 every Saturday. Hey and drop off your DI donations to them. They'd love it!!

Book Report!

I recommend all but the bottom one. I have such a crush on Lauraine Snellings books right now. The take you to another time and place and make you think deep thoughts. Delish!

Banner

When I went to England a few years ago banners were all the rage there. I didn't get it. What was the big deal? Now I have a HUGE crush on banners and want to hang them from every possible place. I made this little spring lovely today! It reminds me that SPRING is just around the corner!! Thank Goodness!

Green Clean

I love and infomercial! Everything is so amazing! I've seen this little fella on TV many times...and thought "Wow what a blessing!! I need that!!" Today at the Dollar Tree I got one. It was FAB to use. It took all the hair spray build up on the drivers side car window (don't judge) off in a flash. It was totally worth a buck!! Just so you know!!

Last weekend I went to Pottery Barn. It was blissful! Last night I laid in bed and read my new Pottery Barn catalog! I decided I have "Pottery Barn taste on a dollar store/thrift store budget!"

I've seen these little Dollar Tree birdies all over blog land. I needed a new tooth brush so I too picked up a birdie while at the Dollar Tree! I just didn't love the color! I am more of a

PAINT EVERYTHING AQUA

kinda girl! So guess what I did?



Paint this little fella AQUA and polka dotted! I really believe all things are better w/ polka dots!

Little did she know "he" had LOTS of brothers and sisters at home!! She'd laugh her guts out at this sight!

Super Shabby Chic Deal!

I found myself randomly at NSP yesterday and they had my favorite friend Rachel Ashwell's fabric by the yard 60" wide for 2.99 a YARD!! It was beautiful!! And had I even one inch worth of space in my life I would have bought it all!!

Home Sweet Home!

Yesterday I bought my very first home!! It is card board and only 50 cents...but I still love it!!

Remember the picture of the tulpis reaching for the sun the other day? Now they have to reach through a layer of snow too...A spring..what a joker!

I think Vanessa from V and Co. is pretty darn FAB!! She is creative yet cool. She yearned for a couch so I hooked her up it's the LEAST I could do!! When I of handily told a new friend Cami about the encounter she was star struck and said "She is like FAMOUS". I said "yeah I know"..like it was know big deal but knowing inside that I had basked in the light of greatness!!

I don't make cookies often...If ya make cookies ya usually eat cookies! I found these at my favorite NPS for 99 cents a box and scooped them up. They have lots of good for you stuff in them and they are local! The best part is they are EASY PEEZIE to make and they are DELISH!! Next time I am adding cranberry raisins though. MMM yummy!!

Merry Marchmas!!

I'm not one to buy loadsa Christmas stuff..because it is so hard to store!! These buties called to me today and reminded me that they were only .50 each (next to the 32.00 each store price tag). They won out!!

When I was a child we had a little red sprinkler!! We spent hours and hours running (running through the sprinklers) over and around the beauty each summer! It was like Disney Land to us. I found it's twin today...I just couldn't pass it by!

Here it she is in her new home. I think it is time for a bigger shelf!
