Green, Gray and Dottie

Today was a cold gray day w/ lot of wetness! We got a little snow on the ground and some places got a lot (inches). I think winter is knocking! I had some errands to run in The land of Og while I as there I made a few extra stops.

I found these tiny tiny apples under a tree in a Walmart parking lot!! So sweet and so free!!

A bag full of vintage black metal letters .50 can't wait to see what I do w/ them!!

Pottery Barn Teen Dottie Bed Skirt for 1.00 (69.00 retail and still sold on the site). I have needed a fun bed skirt for awhile but I am cheap and picky so it has been a long time come'n!! I got this baby for a DOLLAR!! It is a little brite but so Cath Kidston! I might put it on inside out so it has that washed look!! So excited!! I was going to save this till Christmas but I can't wait!!

I love cheap and easy crafts!! I painted this paper sack destressed it...then filled w/ newspaper...then tied it w/ cute green jute!! So cheap so easy...and so polka doted!!

Being a vegitarian makes me love a GOOD peice of fruit just a little bit more then most folks!! The other day I found the cuttest blog w/ the cutest name. There I learned about these lovely ladies! Then I found these (a whole bag) today while thrift'n! Heres hope'n I make millions!!

Feathers

Sometimes you find the cutest things when you get off the beaten path a bit!! I love any thing and all things creative. I found the cutest store today!! It is called Feather Your Nest and it is in Tremonton Utah of all places.

I love Gap So Pink!! I love the bottle too!! When all the purfume is gone..I hate seeing the frosted glass bottle in the trash. A pair of pliers and a little force made this very darling simple vase!!

Nesting

I love the bird and nest craze!! I however am cheap!! I found a fifty cent nest at the thrift store and painted and speckled the raw wood eggs!! Now I will have a reminder of spring all winter!!

Darling Digs!!

My Darling little cousin (19) gave his farwell talk yesterday so he can pack his bags and go on a Mormon Mission. After the church meeting we met here for a little munch and mingle. Every corner of this house was filled w/ darling and simple pleasures for the eye!! I feel so blessed that a dollar and a thrift store make my heart sing...because I doubt that I will one day live in such a palace that ALLLLMOST puts a Mormon Temple to shame!!

I just finished totally shampooing my whole car! I also scrubbed all the matts! I am totally ready for winter...kind of!
