Ogden Utah DI review!

Today after painful dental work..I headed down to Ogden (Utah) to visit their "New" thrift store. It was beautiful and clean!! After walking around awhile I found a darling globe 19.00!!! NINETEEN!!! WOAH I don't buy second hand so I can pay retail!! I also found a darling vintage clock that was 11.00. I bet it wasn't 11.00 new!! I felt bugged!! Most of the items in the store were new (which confused me) and very pricey!! I'll give em a few months and the give it another visit and see what I find. Happy Junking!!

September Snow??

*My camera is dead!! It died w/ no warning! I am crushed!

*My tooth is chipped because of my new teeth clenching hobby!

*I can't get into and use pay pal and even the customer service people can't help.

*The mountains have been dusted w/ a power sugar like snow! Winter is on it's way!!

Today I held a hen named Zoey and even collected her eggs. Aren't everyday things amazing when you take a closer look. Brown speckled eggs that appear in a little chicken house daily is amazing!

I had a very blog worthy day today...and my camera refused to work. Sighhh all I have for today is the "memory card" in my head!!

My best friend Cath!!

Look what my "best friend" Cath sent me from across the pond!! For no reason other then she loves me!! This already has offered hours of viewing pleasure!! If only I had known about Cath when I was in England..I would have visited her and gave her lots of my money!!

Look at her now...after her "extreme makeover"!

I channeled a little Junk Market Diva and used some odds and ends that hand been hang'n around for FAR to long!! I love how she turned out. There are a few tweeks that need to be finished...and I do need to paint the shelves. THE SHELVES ARE KILLING ME...so hard to paint!! Also the little door handle needs to be attached correctly...I can't find a screw that is the right length...but other then that she is PERFECT!!! Now to find her a home!!

Wild Tree...

I am not huge into "home parties"...I'm just to darn cheap!! Tonight I went to a "party" I can totally back. It was for natural and nutritious foods...that are EASY!!! Hello they are VERY VERY tasty too!!! Here is there website I love that you can buy something yummy w/ out MSG and loads of other preservatives junking them up!!

Depressed?

If you've known anyone who has been depressed, heard of someone being depressed or been depressed yourself, this is a great book for you!! Heavenly in sites on a huge earthly issue!! I highly recommend it!

Another Favorite Tool!

I love these things!! They make the painting process so much nicer!! I but em at Walmart and they are made by Rubber Made. I also buy knock offs at the dollar store any where else I see em. Try'em you'll like em!!

I don't really understand the draw at all!! It is like seeing someones random thoughts w/ no insight or intimacy. I find it rather odd and impersonal! I like to know the interworkings of ones soul. Not just outword random quips!

Love Happens

The movie was like getting ones heart ripped out through ones ear canal for a hour and a half. Painful and heart wrenching! Not fun!!

Two dollars of Yard Sale'n BLISS!!

I found this baby this morning. Two dollars she was MINE!! I need her like a hole in the head...but I know she'll be DARLING!! I want to do some sort of typography on her...I have been some much stuff w/ bold letters and numbers on them and I LOOOVE it!!

She looks tiny but she is about 3.5 feet tall!

UPDATE!:

I started prime'n this tonight and the stain is bleeding through aweful!! I have painted and primed EVERYTHING and never had this issue!! Help!! What do I do?

Bloggie Doggie Bed

While Yard Sale'n I found this bed for Lucy (my sisters darling doggie)

I primed it!

I added an "L". I learned this trick from another blogger!! Need to trace something on to something else? Use a dark photo in the news paper as CARBON PAPER!! How smart is that?

Worked for me and was FREE!

While letting the "L" dry...I looked at Lucy and she looked like a smurf!! She was totally BLUE!! She had found the paint and used it as a chew toy!! Good thing we have a carpet cleaner!!

This is how it turned out!! SO CUTE!! It doesn't have a mattress yet..as I couldn't find anything in my price range (Cheap) that worked just right...but I'll find something!!

Look at Lucy..she loves her new bed and is just a tiny bit wet from her bath!! Grrrrr!!!

My Morning Walk!

Me and my shadow went for a walk this morning!! So beautiful! I have yet to quit sweating! It took forever to get all the sand out of Lucy's coat! Who wears a coat to the beach??

I passed up this (really it's twin) for 3.00 at the thrift store today. Why on why?

Tuesday

We had one afternoon of rain in my dessert home and look what popped up!!

I just read this book...I give it 5 stars! (I had to do a photo shoot w/ the last of the tomato harvest! Sighhh)
