A waste of a sleep in morning!

I woke up so early to attend another "city" (tiny town) wide yard sale. All it was was junk house after house!! It was very depressing!! The LAST house we hit when we drove back to our little town had quite the yield.

This darling vintage sled! So CUTE! (didn't buy it).

This darling vintage table 50 bucks! (didn't but it!)

This American flag and ribbon (I bought separate but attached them). I bought for .50.

At the thrift store I ran in to 2 pairs of BAND NEW Dansko shoes and you guessed it to small!! Size 40. Sighhh some day!!!

Salt and Pepper

Today my family and I got together to celebrate our mom's birthday! I gave her these darling little salt and paper shakers. Aren't they so sweet!! It was hard to give them up...but maybe some day they'll be mine again!!

Green with Envy!!

This isn't exactly what I had in mind...but I think she turned out darling and I love her!! The paint is still tacky and I still need to finish inside of the drawers..fewww what a lot of work!! Wouldn't this be so cute for kitchenette for a little girl? Paint burners on top and recess a bowl and ta da kitchen!!

Mint Jelly

I went to Walmart (the only "big store" for miles) and bought the paint. Came home and it was a freakish NEON lime green. Come to find out I had another brand new rejected can of the exact paint on my shelf. SIGHHHH...a little mix mix here and a mix mix there and I got a color I can live w/. Still looks a little limey in the pictures looks more vintagey and cute in real life. (first coat).

I always think...

Next time I won't forget to roll up my windows in my car when inches and inches of rain fall. But I always forget!!

A Book Vacation...

I love a book that can take me to another place and time. I have read all but one of these book in the Gresham Chronicles series. I am on the waiting list at the Library. If you need a free vacation take a trip to the library!!

Just Junk!

I saw this COOL old old fireplace thing at the thrift store today! Lots and lots of fun stuff to look at today! So much junk so little space! Sighhh...but a girl can dream can't see?

I think I love this green!! (The wallpaper KILLER!!)

I primed this little lady...she sighed to be clean again! I think she'd look fab green! See above picture!

I stripped the hardware and it was still ugly so it is now primed. I think I'll spray it a brushed stainless color?

I changed the sign in the window sill from "spring" to "summer". (Taking back lit pictures is hard! Any hints?) I love these little scrabble tiles! I got them to make necklaces. until then... they spell out happiness to me. Tiny happinesses for a 1.00 are all the better!

You know it's a good day when....

When you find this little lady stare'n back at you at the thrift store for 15 bucks!!

When I went to wash my car at the car wash!! I washed and washed and washed...and the beeper never beeped to tell me my time had run out...so I washed some more and my car is SPARKLING!!

Spring Trim!

I am a short hair girl! I love me a sassy "do"! I have been growing my hair for months for "a change" and I had enough!! I am back!

Two Hundred and Fifty POUNDS!

I lost 250 pounds!!! Almost $500.00...but I gained this!! I hope I love it!!

RC Willy called @ 7:00 AM and was here by 7:40. WHAT IN THE HECK?? When ever are delivery people EARLY or even on time for that matter!? What a mess!! But gosh she is pretty!!

Today while nannying we made these darling BEEEEES!! "GO BEES!"

Then I made this .59 cents of goodness!

That turned into this: Can you say "FETA CHEESE"!!?

I went on a serious hunt for SUMMER clothes today and come home w/ one pair of capris GRRRR!!! I did see these darling while at the thrift store.

Today it was so HOT 90'!! Thanks to the air conditioning gods for modern inventions!

Garden Art!

I've had this for years hanging on my wall acting as hooks for many things! (rusty and brown..below after spray paint!)

I spray painted it white this moring...because the necklaces are OUT OF CONTROL!! They needed a little more room!!

I also found these (heads to where you turn on your hose) and hung them. I am rather pleased! I got these out of my elderly neighbors garage (I asked)! He owned a plumbing shop for years and had quite the collection of these!
