Robin Egg Regrets!!!

A few months ago...say mid January...I was at the thrift store and say a huge bag of these!! Huge meaning like more then 150 in a huge bag for .75 Needless to say I didn't buy them!!




Who knew I could have done this?? Who knew that I'd have such a crush on birds and nests like the rest of the craftie world come spring!!

A light read!!

I love to read!! Libraries are free after all!! I love taking a mini vacation from life and seeing the world through diffrent eyes. I like light easy to read books...I found one in this new series! Check it out!!

Wedded Bliss!

My baby sister was married a YEAR ago tomorrow!! Because of all the "goings on" there are few pictures of all the decor in action. Here are some before shots!!

A day of Thrifting and Galavanting!

I had to get out of my small town and head to the city of the satly lake! I went to all my favorite stores...and soaked up all the sun I could. I saw my sister and brother inlaw and had a DELISH lunch!

I was so in need of a thrift store high...and all I found where these!! Mine are cracked and pretty beat up and for 8 bucks my car can have some new shoes!!?? While I was walking around the thrift store w/ these babies in my hand...an old homeless looking man...said "I don't see a woman and her hub caps often". It was so funny!!

A Crush!

I love Books! I love to Create!! I once loved all thing British!! This little lady I picked up from the library yesterday...and I think I have a crush!!!

I love the sun!!! I hate when the sun shines right in my little eyeballs..and drys them out even more..and gives me a head ache!! But I wear glasses!! What is a girl to do? Enter these little ladies!! My new (old) best friends!!

I got mine at Walmart for 20 bucks!! 20 bucks for a few less headaches!! Totally worth it!!

I like my car! It gets me where I need to be and it is fairly cute!! I hate putting money in to it!! I am so cheap...and it just seems like an endless BLACK HOLE!! The state thinks I need a new windshield..Why? That huge letter H crack on it is HUGE and ugly...but a beauty mark really. A 200.00 replacement is needed they say!!

After a new windshield follows registration 120.00 and then inspection 20.00. and then come spring this little lady needs a new timing belt..and a water pump 500.00 bucks!!

I have a huge pain in the neck! I can't to save my life...find a comfortable pillow...and it is not like I haven't tried!! I have bought...and I kid you not 10 or more pillows! I can't find the perfect mix of super firm/fluffy!! Aweeeee the pains of the life as a Princess!!!

Cheap Girl Heaven!

Last summer while I was in Oregon on vacation I happened on the greatest place! It is called Grocery Outlet! They have fab stuff for cheap prices!! The one I went to had TONS AND TONS of Organic and Natural face and body products! I was in Cheap Girl Heaven!! I got a lot of stuff that I would never pay retail for! Now here I am in Utah running out of all my FAB products and 2 or 3 hours from a Grocery Outlet....what is a cheap girl to do....sigh. If you have a Grocery Outlet in your neighborhood...it is totally worth a visit!!

I got this for 4.00 it is 9-12 dollars retail! I love this cuz it works and soaks in fast! Plus I have no non scented stuff...sometimes I don't want to smell like a lemon or a flower!! I got a HUGE 32 oz bottle of this awesome shampoo for 5.00 and I love it. These tiny bottles are 6.00 retail!

This is what I am mourning! This I got for 4.99 it is 9-12 retail...and was out today at Target and Good Earth!

Happy Feet!

When your feet hurt your WHOLE life hurts!! My walking shoes are one step away from the trash can....but I got these and they my feet are so HAPPY!! Being the cheap girl I am this makes me VERY HAPPY!!! I got these for 4 bucks at Wal-Mart!! Treat yourself!! It is so worth it!!

Green!!

The cute boys I nanny and I decided to have a pre- St. Patrick's day! Life is to short to have only one GREENIE day a year!! Green is good!! We made GREEN lemon lime scented Kool Aid Play Dough, had green Ramon Noodles (the boys would NOT allow me to add green peas) Green Milk and the best part is we sported green tongues ALL DAY!! Awwwee the joys of childhood!!

Kool-Aid Playdough

Ingredients:
• 1 1/4 cup flour • 1/4 cup salt • 1 pkg unsweetened Kool-aid (just the dry koolaid, don't mix it into juice) • 1 cup boiling water • 1 1/2 Tbsp vegetable oil

Directions:
1. In a bowl, mix flour, salt and kool-aid. 2. Stir in water and oil 3. Knead with hands for about 5 minutes. 4. Store in ziploc bag for up to 2 months. 5. Use like playdough. 6. Smells wonderful and takes on the color of the koolaid.

Tiny Tips!!

I love to have a paint brush in my hand and love the transformation of just about anything. I do however HATE when I put a project on news paper to paint and then when it drys and I remove it...it is STUCK!! Better idea? WAX PAPER!! I love this for little projects and I'll even tare of little squares to put under legs of big projects!! Try it and report back!!

***Bonus hint!! I just noticed the nail file in the photo. A better tool was never found to sand the edges of little projects!! Pictures frames are sanded in a flash w/ a nail file!! Little things do make me happy!! HAPPY SPRING!
